David Ben-Odafe, CEO Gr8Myndz LLC
There has never been a more shining example of following your dreams than that of our Founder and CEO, David Ben-Odafe. He has been fighting for survival since birth with Sickle Cell Disease, a genetic disorder of the blood cells that rob the body of oxygen requiring frequent blood transfusions and hospitalizations.
His life was literally slipping away, yet he refused to be a pawn in the game of life. He made the choice to be proactive and develop his mind. He studied all of the “Greats”, sought out mentors, got a degree in Psychology, and simply refused to limit himself.
With God’s Grace, David’s challenges became his gift, as they set him before great men. A shy, fragile boy became a beacon of hope and a pillar of strength to everyone around him.
A lifetime of health challenges, heartbreaks, closed doors, and his unwavering faith has forged him into steel that is simply unbreakable.
David came to America in 2015, “his” beacon of hope for a new life, determined to fulfill his destiny with what time God gave him. He also found Katherine, his wife, whose faith, resilience, and desire to serve matched his own. Also living with pain and health challenges from birth, a perfect match was born. Their dreams aligned like the stars in the sky.
As an Entrepreneur, Published Author, Life Coach, Mentor, Youth Advocate, and Founder and CEO of both Gr8Myndz LLC and Ben-Odafe Sickle Cell Foundation (BOSCEF), he continues to Inspire and Serve people around the world.
